Using time-intensive processes, Fermor's work uses offers poetics in mark making, technique, and language to reflect their interest in the intentional abstraction of communication and identity. Much of Fermor’s artwork and texts are the result of time spent alone: each act as a documentation of thoughtfulness and individuality; each offer a small gesture to the experience of solitude.
